Introduction to Fishing

Have you always wanted to try fishing but never knew where to start? The introduction to fishing is the ideal experience for you!

On board our vessel and with the support of a friendly, experienced team, you will learn the basics of recreational fishing, from using the equipment to your first catches. All in a safe, relaxed atmosphere surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sesimbra coast and the Arrábida Natural Park.

No experience needed, just the desire to learn, relax and experience something different at sea. Ideal for all ages and for sharing with family or friends!

The Sea Dreams team will accompany you on this first contact with sport fishing. We will guide you through the basic techniques:

Setting up the equipment: How to use rods, reels, hooks and baits
Fishing techniques: How to cast the line, how to recognise the moment the fish bites the bait and how to pull in the fish
Caring for the environment: Guidance on respecting aquatic ecosystems, species conservation and catch-and-release practices, where applicable.
