Vegan Portuguese Cooking Class
Portuguese food, reimagined plant-based

This class works just as well for experienced vegans as for people who’ve never cooked a plant-based meal — the focus isn’t on substitutions or workarounds, but on how good ingredients, good technique and a bit of Portuguese instinct come together into something genuinely delicious. Recipes are a guide, not a rulebook, so there’s room to improvise and ask questions (bring a pen if you like to take notes). You’ll be on your feet for most of the evening, cooking alongside a small group and a professional chef, so comfortable shoes are a good idea. Taught in English and open to all skill levels — whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or simply curious.
What’s on the table
The menu changes with the season and adapts to your group’s needs — but here’s what a typical evening looks like:
- Snacks & bites — served throughout the class, including Portuguese olive oils and seasonal bites to keep you going while you cook
- Starter — a light plant-based dish to open the meal, rooted in Portuguese flavours
- Main course — a hearty, flavour-forward vegan dish rooted in traditional Portuguese cooking
- Dessert — a Portuguese sweet reimagined without dairy or eggs, often featuring almonds, citrus, or seasonal fruit
- Wine, soft drinks, coffee & tea — included throughout the evening
- Hands-on vegan cooking class with a professional chef
- 3-course plant-based dinner
- Portuguese wine & soft drinks
- Digital cookbook
