Arrábida Wine Tour
On this tour, the Sardine swims to southern waters, below the Tagus river. We start the journey by visiting Palmela, going all the way up to the castle to enjoy the amazing views, take incredible photos and taste the wine Moscatel from Setúbal – the emblematic wine of this region, considered to be one of the treasures of Portuguese wines. There is free time for lunch, which is spent at the fishermen’s town of Setúbal, and whose gastronomy revolves around fresh fish. After lunch, we continue the tour to the highest point of the Natural Park of Arrábida, to witness the beautiful landscape, green vegetation, heavenly beaches and the Atlantic Ocean. Next, we visit Azeitão, another village in which is possible to enjoy another wine tasting, during the guided tour in one of the oldest wine cellars of the region. Last, but not least, the Sardine makes a pit-stop at the Cristo Rei, to glance over the view of Lisbon, before retiring back to the city through the emblematic 25th of April’s bridge.
