Description
This activity takes place in Fenais da Luz, one of the most authentic coastal parishes of São Miguel Island. It begins with a guided visit to Casa do Dízimo (CANBEC), followed by an interpretive walking tour along the coastline, where participants will discover the geology, biodiversity, local traditions, and history of the parish.
Along the route, guests will learn about endemic Azorean species, coastal erosion, and the importance of preserving the island’s natural heritage. The experience also includes a symbolic environmental awareness activity and the opportunity to interact with the local community.
The activity ends with a tasting of local products and a moment to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this unique coastal village.
