Funchal: Guided Walking Tour with Tastings
A guided tour through heritage, flavour, and the living history of Funchal

This is a carefully curated two-hour walking tour through the historic centre of Funchal, guided by a knowledgeable interpreter from the award-winning Madeiran Heritage programme. The experience blends culture, history and gastronomy, offering a unique way to explore the city.
Along the route, participants will visit hidden landmarks and well-known sites, while enjoying a variety of tastings — from traditional sweets and tropical fruits to artisanal chocolates, local wine, and Madeira’s iconic poncha. Each stop reveals a different layer of the island’s story, from the Age of Discovery to present-day traditions.
