Come and share with us a day of authentic experiences full of Nature, History and tradition in the unique region of Peneda-Gerês National Park.

We’ll leave the motorway and travel beaten roads that will take us to the mountain peaks, amid villages lost in time, where flocks of sheep and wild Garrano horses roam freely. Several centuries ago, the native peoples built the unique mountain culture of this region, amid viewpoints over the raw granite landscape, dams and slopes that will lead us to the verdant valleys of Campo do Gerês. We’ll discover the pre-Romanesque and ethnographic culture of this most ancestral region and take in the intoxicating landscapes of the National Park, amid mountain roads, waterfalls, villages and ever-embracing nature, aboard a carriage drawn by native horses. At lunch, we’ll delight in the traditional mountain flavours, in the purity and tranquillity of a small village in the region, then discover the Sanctuary of São Bento da Porta Aberta, the second most important place of pilgrimage in Portugal. We’ll end the day beautifully, relaxing with a cocktail paired with regional produce, surrounded by the river and mountain landscapes of this region of unique beauty.
