We’ll explore Porto’s best viewpoints and famous monuments as we travel from tasting to tasting discovering other amazing wines Portugal as to offer away from Port. What to expect Explore Porto’s Historical center as we travel from tasting to tasting with João, your private guide. João curated 4 local wine tasting experiences, from table wines and liqueurs to cocktails, all Not Port. Amazing moments, at a slow pace and loads of photos! End with a Champagne toast in the best viewpoint of the city. Our Itinerary We‘ll start the tour by meeting you up at your hotel and explain the plan for our tour. The rhythm will be slow-paced with lots of stops to soak in the views, take photos, learn about the history of Porto, and enjoy the 4 different wines and cocktails tastings. From your hotel we’ll make our way to the river and Miragaia neighborhood, one of the oldest in the city. Afterwards we’ll follow the road along the river and make our way to our first tasting, a portuguese liqueur, and beautiful views by the mouth of the river. Then we start to make our way back to the city’s old neighborhoods that we will use to learn how Porto grew along the centuries. From Virtudes and Vitória to Clérigos we visit and see some of the best viewpoints overlooking the city and some of its most famous monuments and landmarks. Now it’s time for a lovely Cocktail with a very special pairing along with amazing photo opps. And from here we’ll continue through the grandiose avenues of Porto. As we make our way slowly to cross the river, we have one final stop and amazing tasting of beautiful table wines paired wonderfully with local meats and cheeses. Included more amazing photo opps ?? Time to cross to Gaia, on the other side of the river Douro and make our way to the best views of Porto. There we invite you to enjoy the view with a lovely portuguese champagne. With a small explanation, João, your private guide, will serve you a champagne, while you take your time to enjoy the beautiful views made better by the amazing drinks. Unfortunately we are coming to the end of our Tour and we’ll start to make our way back to your hotel where your private guide will drop you off.
