Private Douro Valley Tour: 2 Quintas with Wine Tastings, Lunch and Rabelo Boat

About our partner

In partnership with Vynea Wine Tourism, we bring you a selection of experiences in the Douro Valley! Vynea specialises in private wine tours in the North and Centre regions of Portugal, with the main goal of showcasing wine culture in Portugal and providing unforgettable moments.

You will have the opportunity to learn not only the history of two important family quintas, but also how they produce and age their Port wines and DOC Douro wines. Understand how the effects of the climate and the richness of the region’s soil influence the grapes, learn about the special storage techniques that result in these characteristic flavours and hear about the preparation of both unfortified and fortified wines.

Throughout the day, you will pass by some of the most beautiful viewpoints and landscapes of the Douro, as well as some local villages. The Douro is the region in the world with the most vineyards planted on mountainsides and this will certainly be an unforgettable sight!

Lunch is a must-stop on our tour! You will savour the local dishes of the Douro paired with DOC Douro wines at one of the two Quintas we will visit.

A visit to these two Quintas would not be complete without tasting some Port wines and DOC Douro wines, the nectars that put the Douro Valley region on the map!

Are you ready to visit the Douro? Book now!

Note: This tour includes a private guide and transport. However, the visits to the Quintas and the Rabelo boat ride are shared experiences.
