Porto Moniz Excursion

Our tour begins at the Pico das Torres where we can see the most fantastic view over the bay of Câmara de Lobos. After this visit we will go towards Ribeira Brava, a pleasant seaside town. Following to the north coast we will pass Encumeada viewpoint at 1007 meters, where we can see the north and south coast. While driving to Porto Moniz, one of the best known and visited cities in Madeira, being the volcanic rock swimming pools its main attraction. Here we stop for lunch. We still have time to visit the fantastic and unique plateau of the island, Paul da Serra at 1400 meters, as we descend to the south west coast. Finally Cabo Girão which is the highest promontory in Europe and second in the world, with 580 meters. Return to Funchal.
