Once you see its wooden crafts, mirrors and chandeliers you will understand why. Livraria Lello Considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, this bookstore was where J.K. Rowling got her inspiration for the Hogwarts stairs in the Harry Potter books. Torre dos Clérigos The Clérigos tower and the church are symbols of 18th century architecture. Designed by the architect Nicolau Nasoni, both buildings are Baroque style and were listed as national monuments in 1910. Ribeira neighborhood One of the oldest areas of the city, located along the River, this is another place in the city declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
