Tour Lisboa, Belém & Cascais
The most comfortable and complete way to get to know Lisbon and its surroundings in just one day. From the historical centre to the glamorous and aristocratic village of Cascais, passing through Belém – you just need to ride the wave. We start the tour passing through the oldest and most typical neighbourhoods of the Portuguese capital – Alfama, Graça and Mouraria – showing the emblematic monuments present in this area, picturesque streets and the most stunning views. Besides being able to witness the vibrant and festive ambience of the viewpoints and the historical background provided by the guide, you can also visit the São Jorge Castle (optional), and then move to the busy and bohemian neighbourhoods, such as Chiado, Bairro Alto or Príncipe Real. We then suggest a stop at the amazing panoramic viewpoint located in the Forest Park of Monsanto, considered to be the lungs of the city, before sailing to Belém, on a time travel to the period when Portugal became a great empire overseas. It was also at this time when the monks who inhabited the Monastery of Jerónimos invented the famous pastry (pastel de nata) that still leaves thousands of people waiting in line to try one. With us, however, that is not a problem, you can delight yourself with a Pastel de Belém without having to wait! After Belém, our ride extends through the afternoon, and you can choose where to have lunch. Between Belém and Cascais there is the road of Marginal – the touristic road of the country, designed by Duarte Pacheco and inaugurated in the decade of 1940 – you can witness a spectacular landscape of golden beaches and alluring waters and excellent restaurants.
