Tuk Tuk Tour 1:30h
Here at Sardinha do Bairro, whether it’s cold, sunny or rainy, we are always ready to take you to discover the most enchanting parts of Lisbon. On this tour we will take you up the hill, through cobbled streets, to the oldest quarters, once inhabited by Phoenicians, Romans and Moors. We visit the Church of Santo António to pray for luck in love, Lisbon’s beautiful Sé Cathedral and the Roman Theatre, before stopping at the Portas do Sol and Santa Luzia viewpoints near São Jorge Castle. We’re not tired yet, so we take our tuk-tuk to the highest point, the Senhora do Monte viewpoint. And get ready, because the view is breathtaking: a 180º perspective of the city, the locks of love and Lisbon at your feet. After a lot of climbing, it’s time to descend to the oldest and most picturesque neighbourhood, a village within the city, a labyrinth by the river where washerwomen and fish sellers used to sing fado. That’s Alfama! And what about drinking a ginjinha (local spirit) here? On the way, you can also try to find a bargain at the Feira da Ladra flea market, if it’s on a Tuesday or Saturday. And visit the São Vicente de Fora Church and the National Pantheon.
